Gone from Earth, but playing at the Rainbow Bridge on the Other Side........................

Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

From time to time our Lord places special little ones in our lives to help us grow ..........

Sometimes this experience can be so heart wrenching, but in the end always a blessing because we grow so much by having had the experience of Love with these special fur angels.............................

October 22, 2004 - February 23, 2005

Beautiful little Allie had a heart problem. We were aware of this condition when we begged her breeder to let us have her and love her as long as our Lord saw fit for her to be with us here on earth. Her Breeder was very hesitant to allow us to adopt her, but we insisted - we knew we needed to be able to love her for a little while......... Allie's little heart just could not do the work needed and our Lord allowed her to go to the Rainbow Bridge around 10:00 pm on February 23, 2005. She went very quietly and peacefully. Allie is gone from this earth but will forever be in our hearts............. Thank you Lord for allowing us to be able to love her for at least a little while...........

July 28, 2007 - September 30, 2007

Bitty Ava was born into our home on July 28, 2007........ from the moment she took her very first breath I knew she was destined to be a special star. She was tiny but so very healthy and active! She loved to eat more than anything so although she was tiny, she was never in danger of a sugar drop! She ruled the roost with her brothers and she had the personality of total confidence and royality! Accidents happen quickly and without warning............. this sweet princess was eating her supper, gobbling it down and got choked, we could not get the food dislodged before she expired. Clearing her throat, CPR and even mouth to mouth did not bring our little one back........... Thank you Beth for your wonderful efforts to try and save our princess.................. A friend told me that maybe our Lord needed our special little one more than we did........ Maybe so.................. All I know is that Bitty Ava came into our lives and warmed our hearts and soul unlike any other and I thank our Lord for allowing us to love her and experience the love that radiated from that tiny little girl........ Each one of these fur angels are a blessing sent to us from our Lord, why some have to leave so soon, I do not know. However, our Lord has a plan and knows best. Each one of these angels take a part of our hearts with them when they leave, but they leave so much love too..... Princess Bitty Ava - Mommy loves you..............
